Ra One

Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan action film, Ra One released in the year 2011. It was the most expensive film made in Bollywood and received an excellent response on its release. However, to promote Ra One, the video game with the same characters before the release of the action film with the name, “Ra. One: The Game” on the PS2 platform. People look for the best gaming PC at that time in the market and the sale of gaming laptops as well as computers took a spike growth. The high-quality animation, replication of looks, and voice-overs of Shahrukh Khan were used in the game.


Krrish is the first superhero film made in India. It was a sequel to Hrithik Roshan’s film, Koi Mil Gaya. With the success of Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish movie came into the picture and it received an excellent response from the audience. After some days of its release, the producers released its gaming version on mobile platforms. The players got a high-quality visual to play the game and players could use the powers of Krrish to washout their enemies. Just like Krrish, another movie of the franchise, Krrish 3 released its game on Android platform which also got a huge response from the audience.


Rohit Shetty’s action film, Singham released in the year 2012 and got a very good response at the box office. Singham’s action scenes violated all the laws of physics but still, it gave the moviegoers a big dose of entertainment. The producers released the mobile game with the same name to promote the film. In the game, there was racing, shooting, and action involved which gave a thrill to players in every second of playing the game. The entire environment of the Mumbai city was shown in the game and it was fun to play.


Shahrukh Khan’s Don movie was a hit at the box office and it gave the producers a reason to work on its sequel. Not only the movie but also its gaming version also managed to lure the players to a great extent. In the game with the same name, there were racing and car chasing on the streets of Kuala Lumpur which was so thrilling to do. The visuals of the game and the concept simply gained the attention of the audience on a large scale which helped to promote the film among people.


Aamir Khan’s Ghajini released on the Christmas Eve in the year 2009 and it got a huge response at the box office. It becomes the first film of Bollywood to cross Rs. 100 crores mark. Its gaming version was also influenced by the same theme and it involved a finding of murders of Sanjay’s beloved “Kalpana.” The visual effects were so amazing that they gave the audience a reason to play the game.
