Andhadhun movie is in no mood to slow down at the box office and the film has maintained its winning streak in week 2 also. The film is facing a stiff competition from the new releases in a comfortable manner. Andhadhun 9th day collection has come out to be over Rs. 5 crore which has taken the film’s total to a significant value. The new releases namely, Fryday, Helicopter Eela, Jalebi, and Tumbbad are still low after a poor start in the theaters.
Andhadhun Heading Towards a Strong Second Weekend
Andhadhun 9th day collection witnessed a growth of 75% from the second Friday as the film grossed near Rs. 5.50 crores on its second Saturday. The film has carried on its momentum post the first week and Andhadhun is heading towards a strong second weekend. Andhadhun has shown its dominance over the new releases and collected more than them in its second week. The movie is expected to show a huge growth on the second Sunday and it would come out to be over Rs. 6 crores. This would take its total over Rs. 40 crores which is an excellent total despite the low-start.
Helicopter Eela, Tumbbad, Fryday, and Jalebi Box Office Collection
Helicopter Eela started its journey at the box office on a low note but showed excellent growth on the second day. The film earned below Rs. 1 crore on Friday and witnessed a growth of around 45% on its day 2 to reach the mark of Rs. 1.85 crores. Helicopter Eela first weekend collection will be over Rs. 3 crores which is not a very good total.
Tumbbad showed the highest growth among the new releases and it jumped by 77% from its first day to reach at Rs. 1.80 crores. It would again show an excellent growth on Sunday but the first weekend earning will be low. Jalebi and Fryday had a low start in the theaters and there is no scope for the movies to earn well over the first weekend. Fryday would only be able to cross the mark of Rs. 1 crore over the first weekend and the other film, Jalebi would be able to earn over Rs. 1.50 crores.
