Baazaar movie has completed its first weekend run at the box office but the amount it collected is not an impressive one. The film had a poor start in the theaters but it showed some growth in its earnings on Saturday. Baazaar 3rd day collection was expected to witness a big jump on Sunday but due to the film’s appeal to a limited audience, it could not manage to earn well. Badhaai Ho had an excellent second weekend and the film easily took its total over Rs. 80 crores mark.
Baazaar Movie Struggles to Perform Well Over the First Weekend
Baazaar movie has only managed to gain a momentum in the Mumbai circuit. At other places, the film fails to earn even decently and hence it could not earn even a good first weekend total. Baazaar 3rd day collection only managed to jump around 15% which was not the need of the hour on Sunday. There is less chance for the film to perform well on the weekdays since it is only getting its audience from limited regions. Here is the day-wise earning of the film:
- Friday – Rs. 3.07 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 4.10 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 4.70 crores
- Total – Rs. 11.87 crores
Badhaai Ho Crosses 80 Crores Over the Second Weekend
Badhaai Ho had performed excellently over the second weekend and it collected over Rs. 18 crores at the box office. The film had a solid trend over the first week also which it also continued it in the second weekend too. On yesterday, Badhaai Ho collected Rs. 8.15 crores and took its total to Rs. 84.25 crores. Badhaai Ho has an excellent opportunity to earn strongly over the coming weekdays. It would cross the mark of Rs. 100 crores in the third week.
