Bholaa has completed its three-day run at the box office and has crossed the mark of ₹30 crores in the theaters. The film had given an above-average performance at the box office and could have done better. Bholaa’s first-weekend collection would easily reach over ₹40 crores after the Sunday earnings.

Here, I will throw light on the film’s box office journey till now. So, keep reading this post till the very end.

First Sunday Collection Likely to Grow by 15-20%

Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa has done a good job on the big screen and it will help it take its extended first-weekend collection to a good value. On its first day, the action-thriller film collected around ₹11 crores. But it witnessed a higher-than-expected decline on Friday and earned nearly ₹7.5 crores.

And the third day brought a big jump for Bholaa which took its three-day total over ₹30 crores. Though it saw an upward trend in multiplexes on Saturday, the mass circuits witnessed a downward trend. And here is what the film has collected in total over the first three days:

  • Thursday – ₹11.20 crores
  • Friday – ₹7.40 crores
  • Saturday – ₹12.10 crores

Clearly, Bholaa’s Saturday collection saw a good jump of over 60% and it reflects the stronghold of the film. Now, it is important for the film to maintain its good performance on Sunday as well. As a result, it will be able to take its extended first-weekend collection to nearly ₹45 crores.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu in Bholaa

As per our early estimates, Bholaa’s 4th day collection is likely to see a boom of around ₹15-20% from Saturday. And it will help it collect in the range of ₹14-15 crores on Sunday.

Now, it will be interesting to see whether the mass circuits would see an improvement in the number of footfalls or not. Since Bholaa is a single-screen film, it has to hold strong in the mass circuits.

Though the film got the benefit of the partial holiday on its first day, it is getting affected due to the Ramazan period. People are not leaving their houses in great numbers to show their attendance in the theaters.

Monday Earnings Crucial for the Film’s Future

Most likely, Bholaa will do well on the first Sunday but the real test will be on Monday. Hence, the film has to hold strong on its first Monday by undergoing a decent decline.

If Ajay Devgn’s film wants to earn a good value in total, it has to earn well on the weekdays. Then, it will become possible for it to take advantage of the holidays in the next couple of weeks.

So, this was all about Bholaa’s first weekend collection estimates. I will update you with the exact earnings once it is out. Till then, keep visiting BOTY!
