All the three films namely Aiyaary, Ittefaq, and A Gentleman are three consecutive films of Sidharth Malhotra. Aiyaary and Ittefaq are content-based thriller films while A Gentleman is a masala entertainer. These three movies failed to perform well and received a poor response from the audience. Box Office Performance
Although the three film started their journey at the box office on a low note, Ittefaq opened at better collection than Aiyaary and A Gentleman. Ittefaq witnessed good growth over its first weekend but A Gentleman and Aiyaary failed to grow well. On the weekdays also, Ittefaq performed better than the other two films on the screens.
A Gentleman could not even manage to recover its production cost and disappointed its filmmakers and the audience. While Ittefaq performed decently and earned average amount on the weekdays and also in its week 2. Due to a poor start and low collection over the weekend and weekdays, Aiyaary earned the lowest amount among the three films.
Hence, Ittefaq did well as compared to A Gentleman and Ittefaq. So, the winner at the box office is Ittefaq.
