Dakuaan Da Munda, the Punjabi movie based on the life of the former Kabaddi player, Mintu Gurusaria hit the theatres last Friday. The film is released at the time when there is no big film at the box office and the holdover releases are not doing well. Dakuaan Da Munda stars Dev Kharoud, Pooja Verma, Sukhdeep Sukh, Lucky Dhaliwal and Jagjeet Sandhu. The film is directed by the director, Mandeep Benipal. Here is Dakuaan Da Munda movie review on various grounds:
The lead actor, Dev Kharoud has done a pretty good work in the film and displayed the aura of the real character very well. The action scenes are very well executed and the other actors have also maintained themselves well in the movie. Pooja Verma, Sukhdeep Sukh, and Jagjeet Sidhu have played their part excellently. Despite being a non-cast film, the actors have managed to spread the wave of the film strongly all around.
Since the movie is based on the autobiography of the former hockey player, Mintu Gurusaria, so every minute detail about his life has been presented clearly. Instead of focussing on the menace of drugs, the story revolves around one man named, Mintu Gurusaria. A good message is delivered in the movie and it guides the youth to avoid the path of violence as well as drugs.
The director, Mandeep Benipal has presented the story in a very good manner. If we leave a few points, the film sails at a good pace and keep the audience in an active state. Nothing unnecessary is included in the film and there is no such circumlocution while directing the story.
The music of the film is not its strong part and it is not selected to entertain the audience. Rather, it is just a narrative of the story of the film.
Overall, it is a very good film and all the elements have been presented in the story in a superb manner. Let’s see what the other critics are saying about the film’s performance in the theatres.
