Sooraj R. Barjatya is one of the most renowned directors of the Hindi Cinema. Barjatya started his career by assisting Mahesh Bhatt on the sets for several films. Later, he made his directorial debut at a very early age when his grandfather Tarachand Barjatya who himself was a legendary director & producer asked him to do so.
In the year 1989, Sooraj came up with his first film, Maine Pyar Kiya which featured Salman Khan in the lead role. It was Salman's debut film as well. This film was commercially as well as critically successful & became all-time blockbusters of Bollywood.
