Gold as well as Satyameva Jayate has completed its extended first week on a solid note and earned a very good amount. The films took an advantage of the additional days as well as the holiday due to Bakr Eid festival in week 1. Gold 9th day collection shows an impressive trend which was not observed on any of the previous weekdays.

Also, the other film Satyameva Jayate had earned strongly on the last Thursday to become the highest grosser solo film of John Abraham. It will be interesting to see how the two films would earn on their second Friday. Although there are two new films in the theaters, they don’t seem to get affected due to them.

Competition From New Releases

Gold and Satyameva Jayate are doing well and expected to drop on decent grounds on their 2nd Friday. Since there is no big hype of the new releases namely Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and Genius, so the holdover releases are likely to dominate the box office. More updates about the films will be made available soon.
