Gold movie releases today at the box office on the eve of Independence Day. Akshay Kumar’s Gold movie has already created a huge buzz due to its high-class trailer and exciting songs. Gold, the true story sports drama film has received an excellent advance before its release. The film is expected to take one of the highest openings of Akshay’s film career. First Day Collection Early Estimates
Gold first day collection is most likely to cross the mark of Rs. 20 crores. The sports drama movie has registered excellent advance bookings at the box office and it has collected over Rs. 10 crores before its releases. Gold has taken the highest advance earning for any film of Akshay Kumar. The only thing which is against Gold at this point is its competition with the movie Satyameva Jayate. How more Gold will earn above Rs. 20 crores depends on the performance of its counterpart.
But the two films are not going to get affected due to each other. It is because both the films are based on a different genre. Since Gold is not a solo release so it is not expected to cross the mark of Rs. 25 crores. Gold movie is likely to become the highest opening film for Akshay Kumar as it could surpass the first day earning of his highest grosser film, Singh Is Bling. Update: Gold did an impressive business on its first day and managed to cross the mark of Rs. 25 crores. Earlier, it was not expected to do so but the final opening day earning comes out to be Rs. 25.25 crores. Despite being a content film, Gold attracted a huge number of footfalls in the multiplexes and it has become the highest opening for Akshay Kumar.
