Housefull 4, the fourth movie from the Housefull franchise arrived at the box office on Friday and started off decently due to it being a pre-Diwali release. The story on the second day of the Diwali weekend was no different as the film collected in the same range on Saturday. However, Housefull 4 3rd day collection witnessed a decline and the movie collected around Rs. 50 crores over its first weekend. Now, all eyes are on Monday collection as this day will see an influx of more audience to the theatres.
Pre-Diwali Release Settles with a Decent Weekend
Housefull 4 took a decent start at the box office and collected Rs. 19.08 crores on its maiden day. And as the people were busy in Diwali shopping and festivities, the number of footfalls was not substantial on the second day which led the film to only collect Rs. 18.81 crores. Housefull 4 3rd day collection witnessed a downfall which is a normal thing for every film on the Diwali day every year. If we keep into consideration the below-average critics’ reviews that the film received, it is still a wonderful performance by the film. As per the data available on the film’s overseas collection, Housefull 4 earned Rs. 7.79 crores on its first day. Here is the day-wise collection of Housefull 4 over the first weekend:
- First Day – Rs. 19.08 crores
- Second Day – Rs. 18.81 crores
- Third Day – Rs. 13 crores (approx.)
- Total – Rs. 51 crores (approx.)
Monday Collection will Witness Jump
The fourth film of the Housefull franchise will see a jump as more people will go to theaters to watch the film and celebrate with their families. Housefull 4 is expected to hold well on its fourth day as the advance bookings for the film is pretty good. However, the acid test for Housefull 4 will be on the 8th day as it will be a big challenge for the film to attract the audience to the theaters post the end of the Diwali festival season.
