The Hollywood animated flick, Incredibles 2 arrived at the box office when Race 3 was doing well. Despite being an animated film, it has performed well in the theatres and crossed the mark of Rs. 20 crores till now. Excellent Performance of Animated Film
Incredibles 2 has impressed everyone with its collection in the theatres. Since there is not much market for animated films in India, so the film was not expected to earn well before its release. However, the whole equation changes completely when it arrives at the box office with a good earning. Even it earned more than Race 3 over its first weekend. Race 3 earned around Rs. 15 crores on its second weekend whereas Incredibles 2 crossed Rs. 17 crores. Incredibles 2 didn’t get affected due to Race 3 and performed better than other animated films.
Also, it has earned an excellent amount of Rs. 3458 crores all over the world which is really a great amount for this type of film. Bollywood’s popular actress, Kajol has given her voice for the Hindi version of Incredibles 2. Seeing the performance of this animated film, we can say that the market for animated films has started improving in India. Oceans 8 Fails to Perform Well
The other Hollywood film, Oceans 8 fails to earn well and only collected Rs. 5 crores in its first five days in India. It didn’t receive positive word of mouth and faced competition from the other releases at the box office.
