Jawan has been spectacular so far at the box office as it is showing no sign of stopping. Over the first two weeks, the film collected over ₹470 crores. And it has set a strong foundation for Jawan’s 3rd weekend collection. In the first two days of the third weekend, the action thriller film has gained well and Jawan’s 3rd Sunday collection will further push it for a ₹30 crores plus weekend.
Stronghold Continues Over the Third Weekend
Jawan started its box office journey by becoming the highest first-day grosser of all time. After that, the show is going on seamlessly and now the film has collected over ₹470 crores after 15 days.
Given the dominant performance of the film, Jawan’s 3rd weekend collection is likely to reach nearly ₹35 crores. The film got the benefit of partial holidays in week 2 so it got a push and, after that, the film showed a decline which was quite obvious. Still, Jawan earned over ₹125 crores in the second week.
The 3rd Friday collection of the film stood around ₹7 crores. Now, it is all the jump it would see over the weekend. On Saturday, the film got a good hike and it collected nearly ₹12 crores.
Clearly, it will help push Jawan’s 3rd Sunday collection which is likely to settle around ₹15 crores. It means a jump of over 80% from the third Friday.
Who could have imagined that Jawan would perform flawlessly at the box office? Such a kind of strong comeback of Shah Rukh Khan has proved that he is indeed a true star of Bollywood.
The time is not far from when Jawan will rule the Hindi film industry by becoming the highest-grosser film of all time. Surely, it is likely to cross the earnings of Gadar 2 and Baahubali 2 in the third week itself.
₹500 Crores Mark is On the Cards
It is just a box office run of 16 days and JawanJawan has reached nearly ₹490 cr with its spectacular performance. Now, the film is going to show its magic on Sunday also and it would take Jawan’s total over ₹500 crores mark.
It is no small feat for the film and it is all set to break many records in the near future. Until now, Jawan has dominated new releases and reached this level.
