Jawan hit the theaters last Thursday with a bang and set new records on the first day at the box office by earning a whopping amount of ₹65 crores in the Hindi circuit alone. Jawan has done a splendid job over the first weekend and crossed the mark of ₹250 crores in Hindi language only. Now, Jawan’s 5th day collection would perform on similar lines. As per our early estimates, Jawan would show a drop of 35-40% on Monday.
This means Jawan’s Monday earnings would settle around ₹40-43 crores. And it would take its total box office collections near ₹300 crores in just 5 days which is a big feat for the film. If it holds true, a strong first week is on the cards for Jawan in any condition. Also, it will attain a few more records to its name.
Not Just in Hindi Circuits Jawan is Strong Overall
Speaking of the total collections of Jawan in the Hindi language, it stands at around ₹250 crores. And if we consider the global earnings of the film, the numbers stood at ₹385 crores over the first three days. Clearly, Jawan has given a message that it has a long way to go and it is in no mood to stop anytime soon.
Not just in terms of collections, Jawan has also set new records on the basis of advance bookings. Coupled with these two factors, the stardom of Shah Rukh Khan and the strong content have helped it excel strongly in the theaters.
