Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan movie is touching new heights due to its powerful performances at the box office. The film did a great job over the extended first weekend and collected around ₹250. And this kind of start coupled with SRK’s stardom helped Jawan’s first week box office collection reach around ₹350 crores.
Currently, Jawan is doing a phenomenal job and it is also enjoying a good number of footfalls from the South cinemas. After a powerful weekend, the movie didn’t stop its power show and showed decent declines over the weekdays. Here are the early estimates for its first week earnings:
Phenomenal Performance on the Cards for the Film
The year 2023 belongs to Shah Rukh Khan. Earlier this year, it was Pathaan and now it is his film Jawan that is doing a great job at the box office. Not just the domestic collections, Jawan has also shown its stronghold in the overseas markets as well. As a result, its worldwide collections have already surpassed the mark of ₹600 crores at the time of writing this post.
On the weekdays, Jawan has collected greatly and it has become possible due to decent drops it witnessed over the weekdays. After its Monday earnings of around ₹30 crores, it maintained its stronghold and earned another ₹24 crores on Tuesday.
Not just this, Jawan’s Wednesday earnings also landed at ₹21 crores with a drop of just 12%. And it further pushed its first-week box office collection.
On Thursday, it is likely to decline by around 15%, which means, it would collect somewhat around Rs. 18 crores. As a result, Jawan’s total after 8 days would land around Rs. 340 crores. Here are the day-wise collections (Hindi) of the film till now:

- Friday – Rs. 46 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 67 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 70.50 crores
- Monday – Rs. 29.50 crores

- Wednesday – Rs. 21 crores
- Total – Rs. 322.75 crores
Jawan On Its Way to Create History
Already having the record of being the top first-day earner of all time, it is going to break new records at the box office. However, a lot will depend on how it fares on the second Friday. If it holds well on the 9th day, there are higher chances that it might emerge as the biggest grosser of all time.
What it would mean is Jawan would enter the ₹500 crore club films. Well, only time will tell what would happen but the chances of the film achieving the feat are very high.
Since there is an open ground for Jawan, it has a chance to create history by earning a good amount at the box office. How big the film becomes depends on its Friday earnings.
