Kedarnath has a decent first weekend on the cards as the film collected just over Rs. 10 crores on Sunday. This is what was expected post the second-day jump. Kedarnath 3rd day collection failed to jump much and the growth was just 10% from Saturday. Now, all eyes are on the performance of the film on Monday. Kedarnath Sunday earning has drawn a conclusion that the film needs to hold well on the fourth day to collect a good amount in its first week. Decent Hold Over the First Weekend
Kedarnath 3rd day collection has placed the film in the bracket of average films. Had the film witnessed a growth in the range of 30-35% on Sunday, it could be assured that there will be a good hold on the weekdays. But Sunday growth came out to be just 10% from Saturday and hence Kedarnath just managed to cross Rs. 27 crores mark over the first weekend. Still, Kedarnath has performed better than the other films of Sushant Singh over the first weekend. Here is the day-wise earning of the film:
- Friday – Rs. 7.75 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 9.25 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 10.75 crores
- Total – Rs. 27.75 crores
2.0 Grows Well on Second Sunday
2.0 has been continuing doing well at the box office as the film grew well over the second weekend. The sci-fi film collected around Rs. 26 crores over the second weekend and took its 11-day total near Rs. 165 crores. 2.0 11th day collection crossed the mark of Rs. 11 crores and a growth of about 20% was seen on second Sunday. With this, 2.0 has become the fourth highest Hindi grosser of 2018. 2.0 is expected to collect more over the weekdays as it would settle around Rs. 200 crores before leaving the theaters.
