Luka Chuppi has shown a good spirit over its first two days at the box office. The romantic-comedy film took a very good start and also witnessed a good jump on Saturday. After the first two days, Luka Chuppi 3rd day collection is further expected to take a new high. As it is Sunday so families would come in large number to see the film. Luka Chuppi has also faced the competition from the growing holdover release, Total Dhamaal in an excellent manner.
Sunday Earning Would take First Weekend total Near 30 Crores
Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s film, Luka Chuppi has earned over Rs. 18 crores in its first two days in the theaters. Luka Chuppi 3rd day collection is likely to witness a growth of around 40-45% from Friday as it is Sunday. Yesterday, the growth was not that high because there was an ODI match between India and Australia which affected the growth of Luka Chuppi to some extent. Still, it managed to earn a very good amount on Saturday. Luka Chuppi Sunday earning would come out to be in the range of Rs. 12-13 crores which would help the film to cross Rs. 30 crores mark over the first weekend. With this kind of growth, Luka Chuppi would cross the first-weekend collection of Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, the previous films of the actor Kartik Aaryan.
Total Dhamaal 2nd Saturday Collection Grew Well but Sonchiriya Remained Poor
Total Dhamaal has not given any sign of slowing down at the box office. After an excellent performance over the first week, the film started its second-weekend journey on a solid note. It earned Rs. 7.02 crores on its second Saturday with a growth of around 47% from its eighth day. Now, Sunday will also bring a handsome growth and the film’s total earning would cross Rs. 115 crores mark.
Sonchiriya failed to grow well on its second day which is not much surprising after its poor start. The total of the film stands close to Rs. 2.50 crores and the film would hardly be able to earn Rs. 4 crores over its first weekend. Clearly, there is nothing much left for the dacoit film and it will end its journey at the box office on a poor note.
