Malang movie has completed its first five days at the box office and it has been progressing steadily. It received an average start in the theaters and only managed to collect just over Rs. 25 crores over the first weekend. After this kind of start, the film was expected to hold well on the weekdays and it did so on Monday as well as Tuesday. On Monday, the Aditya Roy Kapoor film collected Rs. 4.04 crores and Malang 5th day collection stood at Rs. 3.80 crores. The total of the film has crossed the mark of Rs. 30 crores and it stands at Rs. 33.20 crores at the end of the fifth day.
More Expectations on the Remaining Two Weekdays
Malang movie has picked up the pace after a decent hold over the first weekend and it is sustaining well on the weekdays. However, it would be interesting to see how it fairs on the remaining two days of the first week. If it manages to maintain itself well then the first week total for Malang will easily surpass the mark of Rs. 40 crores.
Just like Malang 5th day collection, the sixth and the seventh days’ collections also need to fare in a strong manner. And this is only possible if the film shows only minimal falls on Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, here are the weekdays’ collections of the film at the box office:
- Friday – Rs. 6.71 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 8.89 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 9.76 crores
- Monday – Rs. 4.04 crores
- Tuesday – Rs. 3.80 crores
- Total – Rs. 33.20 crores
