Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani starrer movie Malang arrived at the box office yesterday and it got only a decent start the box office. As the day progressed, the film started to grow but it was much less than what one expects from a movie of this genre. The lack of strong male lead made it difficult for it to attract a huge audience to its theaters. This led Malang first day collection to stand at just around Rs. 6 crores, which doesn’t reflect satisfactory performance from the film.

Malang Needs to Pick on the Remaining Days of First Weekend

Malang movie has not just been able to fulfill the expectation of the filmmakers on its very first day. Now, all that the movie has got is the remaining two days at the box office. Malang is required to witness huge growth on Saturday and Sunday to take its first-weekend collection to a good value. Malang has not been able to impress the film critics which reflected in the number of footfalls into its theaters. Malang first day collection also highlights the word of mouth of the audience about the film is not very good.

Shikara Received Poor Response on its First Day

Shikara movie failed to get even a decent number of footfalls into its theaters and hence it didn’t even cross the mark of Rs. 1 crore on the first day at the box office. The content film is not expected to make any comeback with this level of low collection on its maiden day and nothing much can be expected from the film in the coming days.
