The veteran actor Sridevi is back again with yet another movie “Mom”, which released today at the box office worldwide. Before its release, it has received good reviews from the critics. Taking into consideration Sridevi’s earlier box office performances, the film is making a lot of news. So on the basis of these two reasons, it is expected to perform reasonably well at the box office.
The film is clashing with Paresh Rawal’s Guest Inn London, a comedy film, which has also released today. So it will get a little setback due to that film. Apart from comparing its performance with the currently released films, it is also in competition with other women-centric films like Naam Shabana. Naam Shabana collected 5.12 crores on its opening day. Sridevi’s previous film named English Vinglish was a superhit and also received a good response at the box office. So expectations are very high from this another Sridevi starrer film.
