Movie Reception

Andhadhun movie got a good response on its first day at the box office and it completed its first weekend with a collection near Rs. 15 crores. The stronghold on the weekdays proved the power of its strong content that managed to attract a lot of people to the theaters.

After completing the first week with a good number, Andhadhun refused to slow down in the second week and collected over Rs. 20 crores. Being a content film, it gathered a very good amount at the end of its second week in the theatres.

And the positive word of mouth and powerful content helped it to perform well in the third week as well. It left the box office with a domestic collection of Rs. 74 crores and it's worldwide earning stood at Rs. 115 crores.

  • For his role as a blind piano player in the film, Ayushmann Khurrana took piano training spanning two months from Los Angeles based pianist, Akshay Verma.
  • Director Sriram Raghvan didn't write the script keeping in mind the face of Ayushmann Khurrana. He just wanted to take the actor with a good sense of music.
