Movie Reception

Azhar opened well at the box office and it witnessed a decent growth over the first weekend. On the weekdays of the first week, it performed on an average level which led the film to earn near Rs. 30 crores in its first seven days. However, the film witnessed a big fall on the second Friday and it could not perform on well.

Due to the poor performance in the second as well as the third week, Azhar only managed to earn Rs. 35 crores. The film was declared average performer at the box office. The music of the film played a crucial role in taking it to this mark.
