Bachna Ae Haseeno got mixed reviews from the critics and opened well at the box office. Not only did it fare well over the first weekend but also earn a huge amount in the weekdays. The film managed to cross the mark of Rs. 20 crores in the theatres and got positive word of mouth from the audience.
In the second week, it dropped a little more than 50% and collected around Rs. 10 crores. The total of the film surpassed the mark of Rs. 30 crores in the first two weeks. The third week came a decent one and the movie managed to earn around Rs. 3 crores.
Bachna Ae Haseena earned Rs. 37 crores in the domestic market and it crossed the mark of Rs. 62 crores all over the world. The film turned out to be the eighth highest grossing film of the year 2008.
