Synopsis

Movie Reception

On its arrival at the box office, Dil To Pagal Hai took a good start and maintained it over the first weekend. It didn't fall much on the weekdays and earned an excellent amount in the first week. The film showed a little drop in the second week and again collected a very good amount in the theatres.

The stronghold of the film in the subsequent weeks ensured a huge total in its lifetime and it also fared exceptionally well in the overseas. Dil Toh Pagal Hai movie songs also impressed the listeners on a large scale. Because of its excellent journey at the box office, it became the second highest grosser of 1997.

In the overseas, it turned out to be the highest Hindi grosser of 1997 which also helped the film to take the top spot in terms of highest-earning among all Hindi films worldwide.
