Synopsis

Movie Reception

Don received positive reviews from the critics and it also got benefitted due to being a franchise film. It opened to a huge number of occupancy and also witnessed an excellent growth over the next two days. The film took the second highest opening of the year. Don 2 not only held well over the weekend but also it earned strongly in its first week.

In the second week, it witnessed a drop of around 60% and remained strong at the box office. After the completion of its theatrical run, Don 2 remained at number 4th spot in terms of highest Hindi grosser in the domestic market. In the overseas, the film performed excellently and became the third highest Hindi grosser of 2011 after My Name is Khan and 3 Idiots.
