Ek Villain took an excellent opening and earned a strong total over the first weekend. It earned near Rs. 50 crores in its first three days and also held strongly over the weekdays. The film collected over Rs. 70 crores in its first week at the box office. The music of the film also contributed a lot to its success in the theatres.

Ek Villain movie also did an excellent business in the overseas and earned over Rs. 50 crores in the lifetime. It also held decently in the second week and witnessed a drop from week 1. The film ended its journey at the box office at Rs. 98 crores. It turned out to be one of the successful films of Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor's career.
