Policegiri took an average opening but it failed to earn well after that. The performance of the film in the multiplexes was extremely poor but it managed to earn well in the single screens. Big drops on the weekdays of week 1 only allowed the film to earn approximately Rs 13 crores in the theatres.
The movie fell on a large scale in the second week and third week which left the film with a lifetime total of Rs. 15 crores in the theatres. In the overseas also, the performance of the film remained poor and it could not even recover its budget cost. It was declared a flop at the box office.
