Synopsis

Petty thief Shiva steals a trunk he thinks is full of enough cash to set him for life–but instead, he finds a little girl inside, the daughter of hero cop Vikram Rathore. Shiva and Vikram are identical, and soon the armed thugs chasing DIG Rathore are after Shiva too.

Movie Reception

Rowdy Rathore started its journey at the box office with a solid collection and it went on to witness a good growth over its first weekend. After earning over Rs. 45 crores in its first three days, the film held well over the weekdays to reach over Rs. 75 crores in the first week.

The dop in the second week was also decent which enabled the film to collect over Rs. 30 crores. And with an excellent earning in the third week and on the remaining days at the box office, Rowdy Rathode crossed Rs. 100 crores mark in the theatres. In the overseas theatres too, it earned strongly and took its worldwide total near Rs. 200 crores.
