The movie is set in the year 2031, where the entire world is frozen except few. Few years before, a climate change experiment was done, which failed badly resulting in killing most of the human population. Those remaining, boarded Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe. They are creating their own economy and class system. Those living at the back of the train are lower-class citizens, who wish to get to the front and spread the wealth around. Each box of the train is holding some surprises for them. A revolution is soon underway.
