Synopsis

This is a story of his efforts to make a comeback to represent India at the newly launched sport of Mixed Martial Arts. Movie Reception

Sultan opened extremely well in the theatres and broke many records in its first weekend. The film showed an excellent growth over the first weekend and also fared strongly on the weekdays. Due to the powerful performance of the film, it managed to cross Rs. 200 crores mark at the box office and became the first Indian film to do so. It didn't stop after the first week and carried its momentum over the next few weeks.

Due to positive word of mouth from the audience, Sultan managed to hold strong in the second and third week. It is because of the strong performance of the film in its lifetime that it earned over Rs. 300 crores in the domestic market. Sultan also showed a positive trend in the overseas which took its worldwide collection over Rs. 550 crores.
