Synopsis

It is a comedy genre film, focusing on PM Modi’s Swachha Bharat Abhiyaan. It shows us the unhygienic conditions of rural India. It shows us what happens when 2 lovers are unable to unite because of the lack of toilet in their house. This is the story of a woman who weds a man, only to find out later that there is no toilet at his home. And her father in law is reluctant to construct one. She leaves the house seeing such poor environment. This encourages her husband to start a revolution to build toilets in all the homes of their village. Will he succeed in convincing everyone to build toilets or not?

The business was down big time but Toilet - Ek Prem Katha movie changes the complete scenario. It managed to do Brilliant collections and the reviews were amazing too.

The trending showed by this movie was very rare when the jumps from day 1 to day 3 were 45% and more. The film became one of the best movies of Akshay Kumar of all time.
