Mulk movie hit the theatres yesterday with the other two new releases. It is a film based on a serious issue of communal disharmony prevailing in the society. Mulk comes at a time when the nation is facing a tense atmosphere on the basis of religious division. It presents the real picture of various elements of the left wing and right wing extremism which are doing their respective jobs. The working of various political agendas is shown in a clear manner in the film.

The movie, Mulk stars Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. It is the first film by Taapsee Pannu with the veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor. The supporting cast includes Ashutosh Rana, Neena Gupta, Prateik Babbar, Neena Gupta, Rajat Kapoor, Prachee Shah, and Kumud Mishra. Mulk is directed by the well-known director, Anubhav Sinha. Here is Mulk movie review on various grounds:

Acting

Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu have delivered an electrifying performance as the main lead. Both are in terrific form and impressed everyone with their work. The supporting actors, Ashutosh Rana, Rajat Kapoor, Neena Gupta, and Manoj Pahwa have also done a complete justice to the film. Prateik Babbar is seen in a different role and has adapted himself well according to the script of the film.

Story

It is the content of the film which is all the more tempting. Not many films are made on such politics oriented topics. This one is a power-packed drama with a strong dose of dialogues. The way in which the topics of communal disharmony and terrorism are presented in the film is simply amazing. Not only just it asks important questions to every citizen but also gives a strong message to the world.

Direction

The director has managed to set the right chord with the audience and delivered a wonderful film at the box office. Every little point is presented in a comfortable manner which would make every moviegoer think about it. There is no point where a person would get bored while watching the film. The pace of the film is exactly right and connects with the audience well.

Music

Since it is a content driven film based on serious issues so the background score matters a lot in ejecting the emotions of the moviegoers. The background music lacks some elements and should be more connecting to the emotions of the film. It is the only area where the film seems a little weak.

So, we can say that Mulk is a good content film to watch especially for the ones who take a deep interest in political issues. Let’s see what reviews it has received from the other critics.
