Sanju has completed its first two days at the box office in a remarkable fashion. Ranbir Kapoor’s film performed excellently on Saturday and witnessed a growth of around 13% from its opening day. Till now, Saju has grossed over Rs. 70 crores in its pocket and the film is on the verge of becoming the highest first-weekend earner of 2018. Sanju 3rd Day Collection would remain on the similar grounds and it is expected to witness a growth of over 20% from Friday. Here are the early estimates for Sanju’s earning on its third day.

Recording Breaking Performance in the Theatres

Rajkumar Hirani’s film has again managed to set the right chords with the audience and maintained its stronghold in the theatres. This is the fifth consecutive successful film by the director after Munna Bhai MBBS, Lagey Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, and PK. On Saturday, Sanju also witnessed a jump at the places where it could not perform well on its first day. Till now, it is the best performance by any film of 2018 at the Indian box office.

Sanju has also fared well in the overseas market and is likely to surpass the earning of Race 3 in the foreign theatres. The film has become highest grosser of Ranbir Kapoor in the overseas market. Till now, it has earned around Rs. 15 crores at various places of UK, Gulf, US/Canada, Australia.

3rd Day Collection Early Estimates

After seeing the performance of Sanju in the first two days at the box office, Sanju 3rd day collection is expected to collect over Rs. 40 crores mark. The growth of Sanju on Sunday is going to be around 20% from Friday and this would result in the first weekend total of over Rs. 110 crores. Sanju is running on the path of becoming the highest grosser film of 2018. However, Monday earning of Sanju would give hints about the future of the film in the coming days in the theatres. Update: Sanju earned the highest single day collection by any Hindi film and collected Rs. 46.71 crores on Sunday. The film earned Rs. 120.06 crores over its first weekend which is the highest collection by any Hindi film over the first three days.
