Sanju movie is minting a huge amount of money at the box office. In its first three days, the film has already earned over Rs. 100 crores and set a new record in the theatres. Ranbir Kapoor’s film has become the first Hindi film in the history of Indian cinema to collect the highest amount over its first weekend. Also, it is not going to slow down even on the weekdays and would set cinema houses on fire with its exceptional performance. Sanju 4th day collection is expected to earn excellently and would show a little drop from its first day. Here are the early estimates for Sanju Monday collection:
Earns Highest Collection Over the First Weekend
Sanju has smashed all the previous records at the box office and becomes the Highest first-weekend earner among all Hindi films. It crossed the first three days earning of Race 3, Tiger Zinda Hai and an extended first-weekend collection of Padmaavat by a margin. This is an excellent performance of the film because all the other films took the advantage of a holiday or a festival. But despite being a non-holiday film, Sanju has given an unbelievable performance in the theatres. Here is the day-wise earning of Sanju:
- Friday – Rs. 34.75 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 38.60 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 46.71 crores
- Total – Rs. 120.06 crores
Overseas Performance of the Film
Ranbir Kapoor’s film has also done well in the overseas market. In Australia, it has crossed the first weekend earning of Race 3, Dhoom 3, and even Bahubali 2: The Conclusion to stand at number second spot. Also, the film has performed well in the US/Canada due to which its total first-weekend overseas collection stands over Rs. 50 crores. Talking about the worldwide collection, Sanju has become the third Hindi film till date to earn over Rs. 200 crores in its first three days.
4th Day Collection Early Estimates
Sanju managed to cross over Rs. 45 crores mark on Sunday which seemed difficult for the film earlier. This is the highest earning of any film in India till date after Bahubali 2. Since it has gained a strong momentum over the first weekend so it would not witness any major fall on the weekdays. Sanju 4th day collection would show a little drop of around 25-30% from Friday and earn over Rs. 20 crores. This would take the total of Sanju over Rs. 140 crores and pave its way for the record-breaking journey at the box office. More updates about the film will be made available soon.
Update: Sanju earned Rs. 25.35 crores on Monday and showed a drop of 27% from its opening day. The total of the film stands at Rs. 145.41 crores after first four days.
