Sanju is surprising everyone with its remarkable performance at the box office. The film arrived in the theatres with a mindblowing opening and became the highest opener of the year 2018. It broke many records in just first three days and left everyone asking for more. Sanju has not only performed well over its first weekend but it is also showing signs of earning excellently over the weekdays. Sanju 5th day collection is expected to witness a little drop and would ensure Tuesday earning of the film over Rs. 20 crores. Here are the early estimates for today.
All Sets to Make New Records at the Box Office
Ranbir Kapoor’s film has already shown its stronghold at the box office and is on the path of emerging as the highest Hindi grosser of all time. Sanju has impressed everyone due to the fact that it has broken many records despite being a non-holiday release. The other films from the past such as Race 3, Dangal, Tiger Zinda Hai, Padmaavat got an advantage of a holiday or an extended weekend. But this is not the case with Sanju and still, it has earned more than these films in the theatres. Not only it has collected an excellent amount in the domestic market but also it rocked in the overseas theatres. Here are the first four days earnings of Sanju:
- Friday – Rs. 34.75 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 38.60 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 46.71 crores
- Monday – Rs. 25.35 crores
- Total – Rs. 145.41 crores
5th Day Collection Early Estimates
Sanju 5th day collection is not going to show any variation in its performance at the box office. Since the film has passed the crucial test on Monday so it would continue its stronghold in the coming weekdays. Sanju’s craze among the audience can be judged from the fact that it is the highest single-day earner in the history of Indian cinema. It collected Rs. 46.71 crores on Sunday and even crossed the earning of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion on its third day in the theatres.
On Monday, Sanju dropped by 27% approximately and earned over Rs. 25 crores. Now, the film would also not show major fall on Tuesday and would drop by around 10% from Monday. Sanju is expected to take its total over Rs. 165 crores and would easily crossed the mark of Rs. 200 crores in its first week.
Roll of Wednesday Earning For Film’s Future
Now, we have seen in the past that most of the films show a fall on Wednesday. So, it is extremely important for Sanju to earn an excellent amount on tomorrow also. Wednesday collection of the film would decide whether it would be able to cross the first-week collection of Sultan movie or not. Seeing the performance of the film till now, it is not going to show major fall on Wednesday and is likely to cross the mark of Rs. 185 crores at the box office.
