Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer, Satyaprem Ki Katha, has arrived at the box office today. It is a much-awaited film for the audience as Bollywood has not seen a good romantic drama for a long time. And everyone is eager to know about Satyaprem Ki Katha’s first day collection in the theaters.

Friday Collection Expected to Cross ₹8 Crores

However, SKK has a budget of just ₹60 crores which is lesser than the previous film’s budget which stood at ₹85 crores. So, it will work in favor of Satyapreme Ki Katha to make a good profit if it performs well.
As per the early estimates, the romantic film is likely to earn around ₹8 crores. And this amount may go up if the audience showers more love for the film. It will be interesting to see how things would turn up after the afternoon.
Today is a partial holiday due to Bakrid so it is a good chance for Satyaprem Ki Katha to take advantage of it. Whether it would get its benefit or not will depend on the ability of the movie to connect with the audience.
No New Competiton and Poor Show by Adipurush
Currently, there isn’t any new competition for Satyaprem Ki Katha in the theaters. Also, the holdover release Adipurush is not up to the mark with its poor earnings. The other film, 1920: Horrors of the Heart, is also not very strong and it earns decently. All this will help SKK if manages to fulfill the needs of the audience on various parameters.
Satyaprem Ki Katha can go below or above 8 crores depending on word of mouth and critics’ reviews. Given the craze for its music and the lack of a good romantic emotional drama film in the theaters for so long, it is likely to get thumps up from the moviegoers.
