Soorma has completed its two-day box office journey on a decent note. The film earned a low amount on its opening day but witnessed a big jump of over 50% on its second day. Soorma is mainly earning in North India and also did show some growth in the other regions too. Due to competition from the holdover release, Sanju and the new Hollywood release, Ant-Man and the Wasp, it is fighting a tough battle. Soorma 3rd day collection is expected to take a big jump and would take its first weekend total near Rs. 15 crores. Also, we have mentioned below the Sanju 16th day collection in the theatres. Apart from these two, we will also discuss Ant-Man and the Wasp 3rd day collection early estimates in details.
Positive Word of Mouth Ensures a Big Jump for Soorma
Diljit Dosanjh’s Soorma movie took a low opening but the positive reviews, as well as strong word of mouth from the audience, helped the film to earn well on its second day. Similar is going to be the situation for Soorma on Sunday. Soorma 3rd day collection is expected to grow over 75% and would earn a little above Rs. 6 crores. This would take its total to a good value.
But the crucial test for the film will be on Monday. Soorma has to remain strong on Monday to ensure its stronghold on the coming days. If it fails to do well on the weekdays then it would not be possible for the film to earn strong in its lifetime. Here is the day-wise earning of the film:
- Friday – Rs. 3.25 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 5.05 crores
- Total – Rs. 8.30 crores
Ant-Man and the Wasp grows on Decent Note

Sanju 16th Day Collection

Sanju would earn more than the other two films on Sunday and grow over 75% from its third Friday. Also, it has crossed the mark of Rs. 300 crores and has become the second film of 2018 to do so.
