Soorma movie has completed its first four days at the box office. The film earned decently over the first weekend and also earned on similar grounds on its first Monday. It was crucial for the film to hold well on Monday to pass the test. On Monday, the Hollywood film, Ant-Man and the Wasp dropped a little more than it should and its total crossed Rs. 21 crores. Sanju is holding strong on the weekdays of its third week.
The holdover release has dropped on decent grounds and taken its total near Rs. 320 crores. Soorma 5th day collection is expected to witness a little drop from its first Monday. Soorma Drops Decently on Tuesday
Soorma 5th day collection is not expected to differ from its performance on Monday and would witness a drop of around 10-15% on Tuesday. It is expected to earn in the range of Rs.1.70-1.80 crores in the theatres. The total of the film would easily cross the mark of Rs. 17 crores. Earlier, on its first Sunday, the film witnessed a low growth from Friday and raised questions for its survival at the box office. The day-wise earning of the film is as follows:
- Friday – Rs. 3.25 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 5.05 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 5.60 crores
- Monday – Rs. 2 crores
- Total – Rs. 15.85 crores
Ant-Man and the Wasp Total Crosses 23 Crores
The Hollywood film, Ant-Man and the Wasp took a decent start and didn’t manage to fare well on an expected note. On Monday, the film dropped by 55% and fell more than expected. Now, the total of the film has crossed the mark of Rs. 20 crores and it is expected to end its first week with an earning of over Rs. 28 crores. It is the performance of the film on its second Friday that would decide its future journey in the theatres. Here is the total earning of the film till now:
- Friday – Rs. 5.50 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 7 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 6.80 crores
- Monday – Rs. 2.47 crores

Sanju Performs Well despite competition
The holdover release, Sanju is doing well on the weekdays of the third week. It has already broken many records in its journey so far and the film is in no mood to slow down in the coming days. Although the drop is more than the past two weeks, still is inching towards making a new record in the theatres. Today, it would witness a drop of around 15-20% from its third Monday and take its total over Rs. 320 crores. It is expected to end its third week with an earning of around Rs. 30 crores.
