Soorma has been earning in a steady manner after a slow start at the box office. Diljit Dosanjh’s film started its journey on a slow note and didn’t grow well over the first weekend. However, the film held well on Monday and passed the crucial test. On Tuesday, it maintained itself well and witnessed a little drop from the previous day. Soorma 6th day collection is expected to perform well too as the positive word of mouth of the audience is benefitting the film. On the other hand, Ant-Man and the Wasp is undergoing a big fall on the weekdays. Here are the early estimates for the performance of both the films on Wednesday.

A Good Comeback for the Film

After taking a low opening and limited growth on Sunday, it became imperative for Soorma to hold strong over the weekdays. Soorma has an appeal to a limited audience which is also a big factor in less collection of the film as compared to other films. The film had a decent fall on Tuesday as well and it collected Rs. 1.84 crores with a drop of just 10%.

Soorma total earning stands at Rs. 17.69 crores and it is the rock-steady performance of Soorma on the weekdays which has contributed to its comeback. Soorma 6th day collection is expected to witness a decent fall of around 10-15% on Wednesday and would earn around Rs. 1.60-1.65 crores. Soorma day-wise box office collection is as follows:

  • Friday – Rs. 3.25 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 5.05 crores
  • Sunday – Rs. 5.60 crores
  • Monday – Rs. 2 crores
  • Tuesday – Rs. 1.84 crores
  • Total – Rs. 17.69 crores

Ant-Man and the Wasp Falters on Weekdays

The Holywood film, Ant-Man and the Wasp fails to hold on an expected note on the weekdays. It took an excellent start on its first day but could not witness the desired growth on its third day. On the weekdays, it is not earning well and has failed to take an advantage of its strong start. Ant-Man and the Wasp 6th day collection is also going to repeat the similar story on the other weekdays. The film would collect around Rs. 1.80-1.90 cr on Wednesday. Here is the total earning of the film:

  • Friday – Rs. 5.50 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 7 crores
  • Sunday – Rs. 6.80 crores
  • Monday – Rs. 2.47 crores
  • Tuesday – Rs. 2 crores
  • Total – Rs. 23.77 crores
