Stree had started its second-week journey on a positive note and also witnessed an excellent jump on its 9th day. The horror comedy film remained unaffected due to other films and its total crossed the mark of Rs. 70 crores on its second Saturday. Stree is in a very powerful state and its total could easily cross the mark of Rs. 80 crores over the second weekend at the box office. Stree 2nd Saturday collection has again presented an evidence of the wonders of a powerful content.
Second Weekend Eyes Over Rs. 20 crores
Stree 2nd Saturday collection comes out to be Rs. 7.63 crores following a jump of 73% from its second Friday. Despite facing a competition from the new Horror Hollywood release, The Nun, it remained strong at the box office. Stree is expected to earn even more on its 10th day and it would take its total over Rs. 80 crores. Stree second weekend collection would cross the mark of Rs.20 crores. Clearly, it has become the third sleeper hit of the year after Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety and Raazi. Stree would cross the total of Rs. 100 crores in its lifetime which would be a big achievement for the horror-comedy genre.
The Nun Grows Well On its Second Day
The Nun, the horror film grew about 27% from its opening day and earned Rs. 10.20 crores. The first two day total of the film has crossed Rs. 15 crores. The Nun would grow by around 25-30% on its Sunday and would take its total near Rs. 25 crores over the first weekend. Clearly, this is an excellent performance by the Hollywood horror film.
