Stree 8th day collection hints at the strong second weekend for the film. Paltan, Gala Guleiyan, and Laila Majnu fared poorly on their opening day and are not expected to do well in the future. Below is the complete description about Stree 2nd day collection as well as the other three new Hindi releases.Rajkumar Rao, Aparshakti khurana in Stree

2nd Friday Collection Remains Steady

Stree 8th day collection comes out to be Rs. 4.39 crores with a drop of 20% from Thursday. This performance reflects a steady performance for the film. It is the strong content of Stree which is holding it strongly at the box office. Now, over the second weekend, Stree has a wonderful opportunity to witness an excellent growth. Stree would easily cross the mark of Rs. 75 crores in the next two days.

The only competition for Stree at the box office is the new Hollywood release, The Nun. This itself is because the latter has the same genre with a difference that Stree is a more to the comedy side. It would be an interesting thing to watch how The Nun impacts Stree in the coming days.

Paltan, Gala Guleiyan, and Laila Majnu Start Poorly

Paltan, Gala Guleiyan and Laila Majnu had a poor start at the box office. The new films failed to earn even decently in the theaters. Paltan first day collection crossed Rs. 1 crore mark and settled at Rs. 1.30 crores. Laila Majnu fared a little better than Gala Guleiyan but both failed to make themselves count. Clearly, all the three films have no future in the coming days and would face a stiff competition from the new as well as the holdover release. More update about the films will be made available soon.
