Also, the increased ticket price, as well as the absence of any other strong film, has benefitted Thugs of Hindostan significantly. But the problem for Thugs of Hindostan 2nd day collection is the poor reviews of the critics. The word of mouth would matter a lot in deciding the performance of the film on Friday.

After becoming the highest first-day opener of all time, Thugs of Hindostan has surprised everyone with its mind-blasting performance at the box office. Now, Thugs of Hindostan 2nd day collection has an important role to play in deciding the extended first weekend earning of the film. Well, there will be a drop on Friday which is a normal scenario for any film after coming from a holiday. Thugs of Hindostan Friday earning would witness a decent drop of 15-20% from the opening day.

If Thugs of Hindostan manages to maintain itself well on Friday, then it would become easier for the film to earn over Rs. 150 crores in the extended first weekend. After that, the crucial test for the film would start on the weekdays which would be a big challenge for the film as the critics’ reviews are not in favor of the film. Update – Thugs of Hindostan 2nd day collection stands at Rs. 28.25 crores which means the film has suffered a drop of 44% from Thursday. Earlier, it was expected to decline on decent grounds but the result is really surprising.
