Thugs of Hindostan has completed its first two days at the box office on a strong note. The film took the highest opening in the history of Hindi cinema and its total earning crossed the mark of Rs. 80 crores on Friday. Now, Thugs of Hindostan 3rd day collection would play a crucial role in contributing to its extended first-weekend collection. Thugs of Hindostan Saturday collection has to witness a good growth as the critics’ reviews, as well as the word of mouth, has not gone in its favor. Here are the early estimates for film’s performance on Saturday.
Saturday Growth Crucial For the Film to Reach an Excellent Total
Aamir Khan‘s film dropped more than expected on Friday and earned near Rs. 35 crores in the theaters. Thugs of Hindostan’s fall on the second day was estimated to be in the range of 15-20% but it declined over 40%. Although Thugs of Hindostan is in a strong position still, it is very crucial for the film to grow well from its Friday earning. If the film fails to grow on an expected note then it would not be easy for it to sustain well on the weekdays. Since it is Saturday which normally witnesses a good growth, hence Thugs of Hindostan should perform well on its third day.
3rd Day Collection Early Estimates
Thugs of Hindostan 3rd day collection would grow on decent terms and the jump from Friday would not be so high. This is so because the film has already collected a huge amount on its opening day. Also, it had shown a sign of fall on Friday due to poor critics reviews and public’s feedback. A jump of about 5-10% is expected after seeing the performance of Thugs of Hindostan on Friday. If it performs better than this then it would be helpful for the film. Otherwise, things would get harder for Thugs of Hindostan. More updates about the film’s collection would be made available soon.
