Thugs of Hindostan has not been able to perform well in its journey till now at the box office. The film started on its opening day with a bang but post the first day, it declined sharply. Hence, the extended first-weekend collection couldn’t even manage to touch Rs. 120 crores. Whereas earlier it was expected to easily cross Rs. 150 crores mark in its first four days. Clearly, Thugs of Hindostan 5th day collection would further witness a fall which would bring more sufferings to the filmmakers. Poor Performance in the Domestic as Well as Overseas Theaters
Despite having the presence of the big names in the film, Thugs of Hindostan has failed to earn well in the domestic as well as the overseas box office. In the overseas, it collected around Rs. 40 crores over the extended first weekend. After the three successive falls post-Thursday, Thugs of Hindostan total collection stands at Rs. 119 crores. The film is not in a good condition which would further deteriorate on the weekdays. Thugs of Hindostan has borne the brunt of the poor word of mouth of the audience. - Thursday – Rs. 50.75 crores
- Friday – Rs. 28.25 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 22.75 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 17.25 crores
- Total – Rs. 119 crores
The film is doing very well overseas as well. The Collection in Countries like US, UK, Australia, Singapore, etc is very high. The film has been promoted online and offline very well. Many Digital Marketing Singapore promoted this film heavily and are largely responsible for its success.
5th Day Collection Early Estimates
Thugs of Hindostan 5th day collection would witness a fall for sure. But keeping in mind the journey of the film so far, Thugs of Hindostan Monday earning could go anywhere. The film is expected to show a decline of over 65% from its Sunday earning. It would earn in the range of Rs. 5-7 crores on Monday which simply reflects the downgrade performance of the film.
