Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has entered its 13th day i.e., the second Monday. The film has shown mixed performance until now. On its second weekend, TJMM collected over ₹16 crores and showed a significant jump on Saturday & Sunday.

The drop on the second Friday affected the film’s earnings at the box office. Similar to the last week, the film hasn’t performed well in the mass circuits. But it is only the metro regions that hold well.

Now, after the second weekend, the eyes are on Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s 2nd Monday collection. Will it witness a big drop today? For knowing the answer to this question, read below!

TJMM’s 13th Day Collection Holds Well

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar ended its 2nd weekend reasonably well. After its 2nd Saturday, the film saw massive growth on the second Sunday. Though mass pockets aren’t performing well, the film still holds well due to the support of the urban areas.

Now, the total collection of the film stands at ₹109.14 crores which reflects the average performance of the film. Had it earned well on its second Friday, it would have marked a strong week in the theaters.

But now, it has no choice but to settle its total with a decent collection when it leaves the big screen. Still, the performance of the film is better than other releases that didn’t even manage to hold after the first week.

Tu Jhoothi main makkaar still

On its second Monday, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is likely to see a decent drop from its second Friday. Reason? Because it already witnessed a high decline on that day.

On average, it is expected to drop by 25-30% from its 10th-day collection. And it would settle its earnings around ₹2.65 crores. Last week, it held well over the weekdays and it is likely to do the same this week as well. Here is the total collection of the film:

  • First Week – ₹92.44 crores
  • Second Weekend – ₹16.7 crores
  • Total – ₹109.14 crores

Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway Gains Well But Zwigato Poor Over the First Weekend

The new releases Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway and Zwigato have completed their first weekend. After 3 days, the former has shown good jumps from a low Friday. And it took the total of the film over ₹6 crores. Here is the day-wise collection of the film over the first weekend:

  • Friday – ₹1.27 crores
  • Saturday – ₹2.26 crores
  • Sunday – ₹2.89 crores
  • Total – ₹6.42 crores

Now, it is important for Rani Mukherjee’s film to hold strong on the weekdays as well. Otherwise, it would become difficult for it to earn even a decent collection after its theatrical departure.

The other film, Zwigato is performing poorly at the box office and it didn’t even manage to complete the mark of ₹2 crores in the first three days. Here is the day-wise collection of Kapil Sharma’s movie:

  • Friday – ₹0.43 crore
  • Saturday – ₹0.62 crore
  • Sunday – ₹0.79 crore
  • Total – ₹1.84 crores

The third release Kabzaa is also not earning footfalls in its theaters. So, it is not going to sustain well on the weekdays.

I will come up with the latest box office reports of different movies when they come. Till then, keep visiting BOTY to get the latest insights into the Hindi film world.
