Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has entered its second week and it is facing new releases as mild competitors. The holdover release performed well on the weekdays and it witnessed a decent drop of 20% on its second Friday.

Now, it has to hold strong over the second weekend. Therefore, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s 2nd Saturday collection is of great importance for its future. There are other releases in the theaters but they are not much competition for this movie.

In this post, I will discuss the estimated earning of TJMM on its 11th day. Moreover, I will throw light on the box office earnings of Zwigato, Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway and Kabzaa on Friday. So, let’s begin!

TJMM’s 11th-Day Collection Sees an Average Growth

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has earned over ₹95 crores during its box office run until now. It’s holding well on the big screen but it could have done better than this.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar Movie Still

Firstly, its average performance over the extended first weekend and then its little extra jump on the second Friday would haunt it. Now, it has to witness good growth over the second weekend to hold well over the coming weekdays.

Considering the current journey of the film in the theaters, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’s 11th-day collection is expected to come with a growth of 20-25%. Last Saturday, it showed a good jump and earned a good value.

A similar kind of performance is needed for it to sustain well at the box office. Though there are new releases this Friday, there aren’t of big impact and would not pose stiff competitors for TJMM.

It is expected that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s total collection would cross the mark of ₹100 crores today. But it is evident that the rom-com movie has underperformed in the theaters due to which it would not be able to collect a hefty sum in the second week.

Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, Zwigato and Kabzaa Perform Poorly on Friday

Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway got good word of mouth but it couldn’t get the audience on its release day. Released on limited screens, the film collected ₹1.27 crores on its first Friday.

Therefore, it has become imperative for the content film to earn a good value on the second Saturday by witnessing a high jump. Other new releases have also not done well on their first day.

Zwigato which was released on just 409 screens only managed to earn ₹42 lacs on Day 1. Kapil Sharma starrer is a film based on a social issue. A comedian doing a serious movie isn’t a good idea.

On its first day, Zwigato didn’t manage to attract the audience well. Now, it has to gain footfalls over the weekend to reach a decent collection.

Another release, Kabzaa is a dubbed movie and it has earned around ₹9-10 crores across the country. A majority of its collection comes from Karnataka and it is also categorized among the poor openers.

So, this is all about the box office updates for new and holdover releases. I will update you more on this tomorrow when the new collections come out. Till then, keep visiting BOTY to read your favorite content about Bollywood.
