Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has delivered an average performance till now. The film has earned nearly ₹115 crores until now and it is still doing well despite the entry of new films in the theaters. After a decent Monday fall, TJMM saw a little hike on Tuesday due to holidays in some parts of the city.
Now, it is a thing of importance to see how much decline Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s 2nd Wednesday collection would see. The other film, Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway also held well and it saw a spike in its earnings on Tuesday.
Seeing its growing trend, the film is likely to do well in the coming days, especially the second weekend. Its positive trend on the weekdays is an indicator that the audience appreciates films with good content.
Stronghold Expected for TJMM on the Second Wednesday
After the first two days in the second week, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has reached around ₹115 crores. The film saw a hike on its 2nd Tuesday which happened due to holidays in some parts of the country.
It witnessed a growth of around 18% from its second Monday collection. The film is likely to witness a decent drop on its 2nd Wednesday as it is a normal weekday for the film.
What affected the film in the first week was its failure to reach out to the mass audience. And the story is the same for the second week as well. The holiday has helped the film to gain some momentum but it will not make much difference in its box office journey.
Given the kind of performance it has delivered until now, TJMM’s second-week earning is likely to reach nearly ₹25 crores. Had it not witnessed a big decline on its second Friday, it would have easily surpassed the mark of ₹25 crores until now. However, it didn’t happen.
Though there is no intense competition from other films as they are not major films. Keeping in mind this thing, TJMM should have performed better than its current performance. But it didn’t happen and now the film is an average fare at the box office.
Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway Doing Well on the Weekdays
Rani Mukherjee’s movie, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway has delivered a good performance until now. Its total collection has reached over ₹8 crores and it is due to its significant jumps on Saturday and Sunday.
Above all, the stronghold on Monday and a jump on Tuesday also contributed to the film’s earnings. However, it should have got a better start and it must have earned a similar to Friday on the first Monday.
