This serial revolves around the story of Sagar & Vidya. While Vidya is a middle-class girl who hails from Banaras, Sagar is a rich Delhi-based businessman. Vidya moves to Delhi after marrying Sagar. She faces many problems in the new city. Vidya even sacrifices her own wishes for the sake of her new family. This serial is divided into two seasons.

Season 1
This season starts with Vidya's story in Banaras. Further, she moves to Delhi after her marriage with an extremely rich businessman, Sagar. Initially, they didn't like each other but later both of them end up falling in deep love. This season ends with the unfortunate death of Vidya & Sagar.
Season 2
A long leap of 21 years is shown in this season. In this season, Sagar & Vidya takes a new birth as Amar & Divya respectively. The story reverses in this season. Unlike the previous one, Divya is a rich girl who lives in the city & Amar leads a middle-class lifestyle in Banaras.
