Dahleej starts with the story of Adarsh & Swadheenta. The story continues with their love story which also leads to their marriage. The plot of this serial is loosely inspired by the political situation of India. Although the storyline is so strong, sometimes it failed to impress the audience. What makes it different from other daily soaps is that there is very less of household dramas, rather it has more parts of politics & professional life.
