Ek Duje Ke Vaaste starts with the childhood story of best friends, Suman & Shravan. Both of them separates from each other when Shravan's parents decide to send him abroad for his studies. When he returns back to India after 10 years, he & Suman both are now the changed personalities. Very soon, they become friends again. Things change when both of them realize that they love each other. After so many misunderstandings, they end up marrying each other.
