Gustaakh Dil narrates the story of Laajo & Nikhil who are married to each other. While Laajo is an innocent girl, Nikhil cheats on her by having an extramarital affair with his childhood friend, Ishaana. When Laajo learns the truth, she lefts Nikhil for the sake of his happiness. Later, Nikhil realizes his mistake & wants Laajo back in his life. The serial ends with Laajo accepting everybody along with Nikhil.
